Last night, the whole gang of the CEBU BLOGGERS' SOCIETY attended the DigitalFilipino.com Club blogger's Fun Night at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City. The event was sponsored by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) as part of their celebration for being a new member of the Digital Filipino Club.

Aside from the social gathering of fellow bloggers and other business owners, the said event was also held for the Digital Filipino Club, primarily hosted by Ms. Janet Toral, to reach it's extent to the common bloggers of Cebu. The club is composed of several individuals, SMEs, and other enterprises who are geared towards better e-commerce and online advertising.
This was also the first event where our CBS group has been declared to many other participants. Kevin, the controversial blogger of marroxasfor2010 and one of the founders of CBS, made a simple introduction of the newly formed group. He and Winston, the man behind this year's Philippine bloggers' choice Award winner 'batangyagit', also gave some tips of how to become a successful blogger and become part of the top 100 blogs in the Philippines. Tips about networking and increasing blog traffic and page rank were also shared.
Each participant were also given the chance to speak and brag about our blog/s. My speech sucks, I know, but nevertheless it was still punky. waheheh!
Moreover, we were also able to wear our group-designed shirts for the first time on the said event. We were like men in blacks (MIB) marching through the dome of the hotel. The event was held inside the Casino Filipino Conference Room so we also get to roam around the slot machines and other tables for gambling inside the casino (oh that's my first time).
Goodies and souvenirs were given (Nick and I didn't have the "laundry bag"!! hehe) that includes a special 'double your bet coupon' which can be used inside the casino. Some participants were also given the chance to play the "Mini Bacarrat" table game and some of them piled a couple of Casino chips!
After the short program, everybody partied the night away. King-sized beers and red wines were served coupled with the very lively and LOUD hot casino girls singing in the background. wahahah!
Well of course, who could forget that sumptuous dinner buffet!
Overall, it was totally a fun experience. And for neophyte blogger like me, it was really educational as well.

Blogging has many benefits, indeed. It's not only a good venue where we can pour our most heartfelt emo-emotions to but also a good way of enjoying the company of fellow bloggers, the perks, the fun, the community.
